The Season is Upon Us
The holiday season is in full swing. Thanksgiving weekend is almost over. The radio stations have started playing Christmas songs, Black Friday for this year is a memory, and my children's Christmas list is growing. Traditionally Christmas has been my favorite holiday. But since my son was born 16 years ago next month, I feel like I go through postpartum depression every year. It only lasts a month or so, but man do I feel it. It's a problem for many reasons. First it messes up my family's fun times together. Second it screws up my favorite holiday. But the most important reason is, it takes away my joy. I usually try to be a positive person. I try to bring happiness to others, and this season when I feel it's the most important to bring joy, I have to fake it. I absolutely hate that. Every year I tell myself I'm not going there this year, but inevitably I find myself fighting depression. I wish there was a simple solution for all of us fighting this horrible mental state. We can only do what we can do. So before I tumble into the abyss once again. I wish for all of you a great Christmas season. If you celebrate something other than Christmas, I wish you a joyous Holiday season.

The Mended Hearts Collection
Brad Michaels is an attorney returning home to attend his high school class reunion. He wants to reconnect with former friends and see what everyone has made of their lives; but most of all he wants to see his high school sweetheart, Sara Waters. Brad and Police detective Sara Waters find themselves on opposite sides of the situation when Brad is discovered kneeling over the dead body of their classmate, Clifford Hansen, holding the murder weapon. With a reunion full of suspects (not to mention the people who would want Clifford dead because of his profession), can Brad and Sara finally reconnect? Their path is littered with lost love, a stalker, and revenge.
Trace Reynolds, a firefighter with a troubled past, isn't looking for a committed relationship. He meets Ellie Waters, a fun, confident, beauty with commitment issues of her own, it seems like a match made in Heaven. When Ellie learns about Trace's tendency to defy death not only in his career but in his leisure time activities, she wonders if this is someone she wants to get involved with, even casually.
Will having a couple of near death experiences of her own change her mind? Will Trace stick around long enough to save her or will she have to depend on someone else?
The campus of Arizona State University has been plagued by a series of practical jokes that have turned malicious. A normally quiet morning on campus of is rocked awake by an explosion in the Science Building. Hannah Shaughnessy a feisty Irish/Italian coed is at the center of the excitement. A Bio-Chemistry major, she is more than aware how lucky she is to walk away after the smoke clears. Her luck in the romance department however, is all bad. After being friend zoned by the man she's loved for over three years, Hannah tries to move on to someone new.
Eric Waters is looking forward to a great year. If only he could find someone to date. He thought his status as a baseball player would enhance his image. Unfortunately his love life is trashing his game. When he turns to his best friend Hannah for consolation she isn't there for him.
When Hannah is harassed by a stalker and her life is threatened will Eric step up to the plate or will Hannah be forced to run for home.
Growing up watching Disney movies and classic television, made it impossible for me to expect anything from books except a Happily Ever After. The bad guy always gets caught and the good guy always wins, even if she's a girl.
I believe in good causes and clean romance. I do my best brainstorming riding my bicycle for at least 10 miles a day. My books are character driven which means I often fight with my characters about plot lines and don't always get my way.
I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them.
You can purchase my books at amazon.com in both ebook and soft cover formats.

Welcome to My New Blog
Welcome to my new blog. If you are joining me from sharonlandis.com these are my new digs. If you are joining me for the first time, I'd love to hear from you. By way of introduction. I am an author of murder mystery romance novels. I also work as an elementary school librarian. I love to blog weekly about whatever is on my mind. I love to talk about my books, as well.
You can find my books on amazon.com, go on over and check them out. I like to use double entendre's for my titles. Look up: Reunion are Murder, When Embers Ignite, and Explosive Chemistry and you'll find me. I've been writing for about 4 years now and I love it. It gives me a way to escape and renew. My stories are character driven, which means, I hear voices in my head and have been known to fight with them. Just kidding, actually my characters are very dear to me. So go on over to amazon and meet them for yourself.
When I'm not writing I love to read, not just romance but many different genre's, My favorite authors are Agatha Christie, JRR Tolkien, Brandon Mull, Shannon Guymon, Jennifer Moore, Melanie Jacobson, and Sarah Eden, just to name a few. I also love cycling, it helps clear my mind and my soul so I can write. I love to experience new things.
I love my family most of all. I couldn't do anything without their love and support. So, as I tell my library kids, Sit back, relax, and enjoy the story.
